Spend this introductory module unpacking the timeline of AtkinsRéalis, plus who it is and what it does.

Introduction to Consultancy

What is consultancy, and what skills do you need to succeed? Explore core consultancy skills, project life cycles, and key management strategies including cost and project management. Can I apply to multiple Experiences?

Yes, you can sign up for multiple Experiences on Springpod. All of your Experiences are available on demand, and your progress is saved automatically so you can pick up where you left off at any time via your dashboard.

Who can take part in the programme?

Some of our Experiences have age and location requirements. Age requirements are to ensure the content is age-appropriate, while location requirements are stipulated by the partnering organisations themselves, and not defined by Springpod. All entry requirements can be found on the Experience page.

How long does it take for assignments to be reviewed?

Assignments can take up to a week or longer to be reviewed and marked as complete. Once your Experience has been marked as complete, your certificate will be generated immediately, so you can put it on your LinkedIn and share it with prospective employers.

What do I do if I upload the wrong file?

If you make a mistake when uploading a file, please email hello@springpod.com with the correct file. We can make a note on our system, and this will not affect the outcome of your Experience.

How long will I have to complete this Experience?

While there is no specific deadline for completing your Springpod Experience, we encourage you to finish within 2 weeks to keep momentum up. All Experiences will remain on your dashboard for you to come back to at any point.

When does the Experience start?

Our Experiences have various start dates, which you can find on our website. Simply search for https://www.springpod.com/virtual-work-experience/search

How much work is required for these Experiences?

Our Experiences can take anywhere from 1 to 8 hours to complete, with all content designed to fit around you and your schedule. All time estimates can be found on the Experience page. Want more work experience? You can always try more than one of our Experiences!

Will I receive a certificate of completion?

Yes, you will receive a certificate of completion for all of our Experiences. For further information on certificates, including how to access and share with employers, head to ‘My achievements’ on your dashboard. Don’t forget to share your achievements on LinkedIn if you are 16+.

Do you offer in-person work experience?

While we don't facilitate in-person work experience here at Springpod, many of our Virtual Work Experiences can lead to in-person opportunities. Head to Networks on your dashboard and join to be notified of any additional opportunities. Additionally, make sure to look out for experiences marked as 'Virtual to Reality'. You will need to complete the Experience and declare your interest via the embedded form. Our employer partner will then contact you directly with any in-person opportunities. Please note that timescales can vary, and Springpod cannot provide any progress updates.

How can I delete my account?

To delete your account, head to ‘Settings’ and then ‘Delete account’. Simply click the ‘Request delete’ button to request your account deletion from our support team. We’ll be sorry to see you go!
